Key Topics of the Training Program

  1. Foundation – Columns – Beams: Project Management Officers (PMOs) mastered integrating and managing fundamental structural elements within Revit’s 3D environment. This included a thorough understanding of techniques for constructing foundations, columns, and beams to ensure project stability and sustainability.
  2. Floor Design and Management: PMOs became proficient in designing and managing floors, from material selection to detailed structure optimization. This ensures effective space utilization and high-quality construction.
  3. Wall Creation and Adjustment: Enhanced capabilities in creating and modifying various wall types in Revit, including appropriate connections and materials, contribute to project walls' aesthetic and functional quality.
  4. Doors, Windows, Stairs, Railings, and Interior Design Management: PMOs developed expertise in designing and managing doors, windows, stairs, railings, and interiors with 2D materials. This ensures optimal convenience and safety in construction projects.
  5. 3D Materials, Rendering, and 3D Views: Advanced skills in 3D materials, rendering, and 3D views enabled PMOs to create detailed and realistic models and visualizations in Revit, bringing project designs to life.
  6. Component Usage and Drawing Frame Management: From simple to complex components, PMOs learned to effectively utilize and manage them, enhancing the performance and quality of technical drawings.
  7. Annotate, Dimensioning, and Text: Proficiency in annotation, dimensioning, and text tools allowed PMOs to produce accurate and easily interpretable drawings, ensuring clear and precise communication.
  8. Schedules, Title Blocks, and File Import-Export: Skills in managing schedules, title blocks, and file import-export (CAD, FBX, MAX, JPEG) facilitated seamless interaction with different file formats and related software, boosting efficiency.
  9. Site and Massing: Expertise in site planning and massing enabled PMOs to effectively design outdoor areas and master plan layouts, ensuring harmony and aesthetics in project execution.

A Bright Future with BIM and Revit

Equipped with these comprehensive skills, OSI Holdings’ PMOs are prepared to apply BIM and Revit at an advanced level in construction projects. This training program not only enhances the team's professional capabilities but also contributes to the development of high-quality projects, meeting the growing demands of the construction market.
