Chief Accountant

Job Description

1. Organize, manage, and oversee all accounting activities of the Company.

2. Supervise the preparation of separate financial statements, consolidated financial statements, and management reports in accordance with legal requirements and management directives.

3. Establish and maintain an effective internal control system to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance in accounting operations.

4. Analyze financial performance, manage cash flow and budgets, evaluate capital utilization efficiency, and recommend solutions to improve business performance.

5. Oversee tax compliance, tax finalization, and maintain working relationships with government authorities, banks, auditors, and financial partners.

6. Coordinate with relevant departments on capital arrangement, fundraising activities, and the implementation of investment projects as directed by Management.

7. Keep abreast of changes in accounting, finance, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards; provide professional advice and recommendations to Management on financial matters.

8. Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team; establish accounting procedures and continuously improve the effectiveness of the finance and accounting system.

Gender: Male/Female

Level:

- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related discipline.

- Chief Accountant Certificate as required by Vietnamese regulations.

- CPA, ACCA, or other internationally recognized professional certifications are preferred.

- Minimum of 08 years of experience in finance and accounting.

- At least 05 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or in an equivalent managerial position.

- Proven experience serving as Chief Accountant for a real estate, investment, or construction group/company.

- Hands-on experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and working with independent auditors.

- Strong knowledge of taxation, auditing, and corporate financial management.

Skills and knowledge:

- Thorough understanding of accounting, taxation, and corporate finance regulations.

- Strong analytical thinking with expertise in financial analysis, cash flow management, and financial risk management.

- Excellent leadership, organizational, and team management skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

- Good command of English, with the ability to communicate and read professional documents, is an advantage.
